Company Description This company is a small retirement home, located in Seville, Spain, with less than 10 fulltime employees that has been around for several years and specializes in providing assisted living and health care services. Job Description As an activities coordinator, you will be involved in designing the activities agenda for the residents of this retirement facility with the purpose of maintaining a healthy state of being and sense of community. Daily agendas will include exercise, learning, mentally engaging activities and games. Learning Objectives The learning objectives of your internship are a combined initiative between the company and GlobalEd including: - Sector: You will gain knowledge of the health services sector and how and when this company was created.
- Market Research: You will investigate the health care services sector in the U.S. and compare them to the Spanish sector.
- Customer Service: You will analyze resident satisfaction feedback, report on the results and make the necessary recommendations.
- Presentation: Based on your market research and customer service investigations, you will draw conclusions and make recommendations to improve the services offered by this facility.
