This company specializes in Transportation, Logistics, Distribution and Logistical Consulting. Job Description As a management trainee, you will participate in a training program designed to expose you to three keys areas of the international transportation sector: Human Resources, Finances and Logistics. The time between each area will be evenly distributed allowing some degree of flexibility depending upon your academic background and career interests. You will report to the HR Director for work and to the internship coordinator for the academic component of your internship. Learning Objectives The learning objectives of your internship are a combined initiative between the company and GlobalEd including: Human Resources: Understanding the resources and functions needed to run a transportation company, including job descriptions and problem resolution. Finance: Handling invoices, orders, bills of lading, and contacting providers Logistics: Transportation, storage, traffic and schedule management
